A Lookback on Apple In 2009:

Looking back at the year, the data indicate that Apple has done enormously well in the market. By the end of the year Apple sold 11 million units, which is a large figure. As a matter of fact the sales crossed the target set by Apple itself. Yet another interesting point to note is that this number surpasses number of BlackBerry phones sold in the year.

But it is interesting to know that this year out of those 11 millions Apple units sold, a large amount were Apple iPods. With more sales of Apple iPod, it is obvious that more iPod applications have been downloaded. You may like to see the graph between iPod Touch Vs iPhone downloads of the year gone by.
